Dr. Laurel Harrison grew up in Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania playing all types of sports and throwing birthday parties for all the stray animals she somehow convinced her parents to keep. She completed her undergraduate studies, graduating with a Bachelor in Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She also worked as a veterinary assistant for Clover Farm Veterinary Service during this time. Soon after graduation, Dr. Harrison moved to Columbia, Missouri to attend veterinary school at the University of Missouri. While in veterinary school, Dr. Harrison met her husband, Dr. Nick Harrison. Throughout vet school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and triage technician at the University of Missouri’s Veterinary Health Centers Emergency Department. Dr. Harrison was awarded her D.V.M. from the University of Missouri in the spring of 2016.
After graduation, she started practicing with Lindquist Veterinary Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri, while her husband completed his residency training with the University of Missouri. Dr. Harrison treated large and small animals, and participated in after-hours emergency care.
Dr. Harrison is excited to offer high quality medicine to her small animal patients here in Wooster, especially focusing on internal medicine and a Fear Free experience for your pets. Dr. Harrison enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her extended family. She resides in Sullivan with her husband, 3 Labrador Retrievers – Moose, Barley, and Kylo, and 3 cats – Paski, Ollivander, and Nacho.
