"We had to bring our dog in for emergency treatment after she ripped one of her nails out of her paw on a Friday night after our regular vet was closed for the day. I called Cleveland Road Animal Hospital to see if they could help us and after giving them my information they told me to bring her right in.One there, they had an exam room ready for us. The only negative aspect of the experience was that we had to wait in there for quite a while before someone was available to examine her. However, we could see they were a little busy and being that it's an emergency vet, we understood it was likely they had more urgent cases to handle.Once the vet techs and doctors started helping us, things moved pretty quickly. Our dog gets extremely stressed even for routine vet visits, so by this time she was very riled up and anxious, but they handled her very well. They ended up having to sedate her a bit to work on her, which we told them we expected, but they still came out and made sure it was ok before doing so. They got her patched up beautifully and trimmed her other nails for us while she was being treated. We were told everything that would be done and given an estimate of the cost before any treatment was completed. We found their pricing to be very reasonable, all things considered, and everyone was very kind and accommodating.I might normally be tempted to take off a star for the wait time once we were in the exam room, only because our anxious dog might've been better off waiting in the car with my husband and daughter. If I'd known it would take that long, I would've suggested that. But we are so grateful that we have access to an emergency vet right here in Wooster and didn't have to drive all the way to Akron, that it more than makes up for that inconvenience. I wouldn't hesitate to take any of our pets here in the future."
