Dr. Stephanie Bailey grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio, where she met her husband while raising hogs, lambs, steers and turkeys in 4-H. Dr. Steph began her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University before transferring to The University of Minnesota with her husband in 2003. While in Minnesota, Dr. Steph earned her bachelor’s in Veterinary Science. Throughout vet school, she worked as a veterinary technician at the Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Service as well as the university’s Large Animal Teaching Hospital. She also completed rotating externships at Intermountain Animal Hospital in Boise, Idaho, and Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center. Dr. Steph was awarded her D.V.M. from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2008.
After graduation, she rejoined her husband and family back east when she joined Acredale Animal Hospital in Virginia Beach, Va. When the Baileys were offered a chance to move back to Northeast Ohio, Dr. Bailey excitedly joined Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield Village, Ohio, where she practiced small animal general practice until moving to Wooster to join Cleveland Road Animal Hospital.
Today, Dr. Steph will be the first to tell you she leads a truly amazing staff at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital and is very proud of the high standards that are met by our AAHA accredited hospital. Her areas of expertise include dentistry, internal medicine and preventative care.
Dr. Chad and Dr. Steph reside in Wooster with their daughter Jo Marie, their son Owen Oscar and their dogs Daisy, Stella, and Dixie.
