Dr. Chad Bailey

Dr. Chad Bailey
Veterinarian

Dr. Chad Bailey grew up on a beef cattle farm in Mantua, OH, where he met his wife while exhibiting 4-H animals throughout the state. Dr. Bailey attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies, where he performed research in bovine reproductive physiology.

Dr. Chad earned his B.S. in Veterinary Science from the University of Minnesota and was awarded with the H.C.H. Kernkamp Honorary Scholarship for outstanding contributions to the field of veterinary medicine. Dr. Chad earned his D.V.M. from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2007. While in vet school, he completed externships at the VCA Referral Center in Chicago, Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center in Boise, and the Medvet Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Columbus.

After graduation, Dr. Bailey completed an intensive, rotating internship in specialty and emergency medicine at the Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center in Boise, Idaho, where he gained considerable experience in small animal internal medicine, surgery, emergency, and critical care. After completing his internship, Dr. Bailey and his family moved back east to Yorktown, VA, where he was the leading doctor at the Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic. In 2009, Dr. Chad joined the Northwest PA Pet Emergency Center in Erie, PA.

Today, Dr. Chad is very excited to join CRAH and finally settle down close to his friends and family in Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Stephanie Bailey

Dr. Stephanie Bailey grew up in Tallmadge, OH, where she met her husband while raising hogs, lambs, steers, and turkeys in 4-H. Dr. Steph began her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University before transferring to The University of Minnesota with her husband in 2003. While in Minnesota, Dr. Steph earned her B.S. in Veterinary Science. Throughout vet school, Dr. Stephanie worked as a veterinary technician at the Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Service as well as the university’s Large Animal Teaching Hospital and also completed rotating externships at Intermountain Animal Hospital in Boise, Idaho, as well as Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center. Dr. Stephanie was awarded her D.V.M. from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2008.

After graduation, she rejoined her husband and family back east when she joined Acredale Animal Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. When the Baileys were offered a chance to move back to Northeast Ohio, Dr. Bailey excitedly joined Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield Village, OH, where she practiced small animal general practice until moving to Wooster to join CRAH.

Together, Dr. Chad and Dr. Steph are extremely excited to be joining the Cleveland Road Animal Hospital family. They are a tremendous addition to the hospital staff and have spent their entire careers preparing to lead an outstanding veterinary hospital like CRAH in Northeast Ohio.

My name is Lauren and I am 26 years old. I graduated from Stautzenberger College in Strongsville in October 2007, with a Veterinary Technician License. I’ve been working in the veterinary field for five years. I have a special interest in surgery so that’s where I spend most of my time. I love animals but have none of my own. However, I do have a three-year old daughter named Raimey who keeps me very busy when I’m not working.

I’ve been working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital since February 2005 w/ the exception of a year that I spent at Metro Veterinary Hospital as a surgical technician.

I love my job!!

Hi! I’m Debbie, and I’m a receptionist at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital. I moved to the Wooster area from Findlay, Ohio in 1979, and worked at Rubbermaid for 25 years. When Rubbermaid shut down in 2004, I enrolled in a nine-month business course at Wayne County Schools Career Center. I graduated in May 2005 and started working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in August 2005.

I have five cats and one dog. I enjoy horseback riding, writing poetry, drawing, and listening to Cleveland Indians’ ball games. I’m also active in my church and do some pet-sitting.

I really enjoy interacting with our clients and their “furry” family members.

My name is Charlene. I am married, have two little boys, three dogs named Krazy, Diesel and Guess, and three ponies named Piper, Patzy and Tig. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, fishing, horseback riding & showing our ponies with my sons.

I started working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in July 2008. I enjoy my work and love working with animals. If I’m ever working when you come in, say hi! I’m always eager to meet new people and their four-legged friends.

Hey everyone! I’m Robin - I am the front desk manager here at Cleveland Road and love what I do! I have been employed by Cleveland Road since 2006. I graduated from Wooster High School in 2001. I graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies in 2005. I have five parrots who are like children to me. In my spare time, I love reading, listening to music, watching movies, and, of course, teaching my birds new tricks! I love meeting new people and their fuzzy friends so come on in and say hi!

Hello. My name is Mary. I have the challenging task of being the office manager. I’ve been with the hospital for five years. I was born and raised in southern Oklahoma and have the accent to prove it. My husband Billy, of 12 wonderful years, moved to Wooster five years ago and we love it here. We are blessed with 18 children of the four-legged variety (14 cats and four dogs). I enjoy tending to my flower gardens, jogging, & camping.

I’m married and have a handsome 11-month old boy along with two dogs & three cats. I enjoy softball, soccer, watching movies and baseball. Professionally, I enjoy being in surgery and assisting the doctors.

Hi! My name is Melissa. I have been with Cleveland Road Animal Hospital for a little over a year. I graduated from Waynedale High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center for Medical Assisting in 2006. My parents and I live in Apple Creek, along with their 2 dogs, Kenzie and Abby. I also have a cat named Elmo, and Jobe, a terrier mix that was brought in as a stray back in September. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, swimming, shopping, going to the ocean, and playing with my beautiful 16 month old niece. Stop in and say hi!

Hey! My name is Todd. I am a 2009 graduate of Wooster High School and I currently attend Ohio Wesleyan University. I am majoring in Pre-Professional Zoology in hopes of attending vet school. I began working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in May of 2010.

In my free time I enjoy ultimate frisbee, basketball, baseball and fishing. As of right now I do not have a pet, but once I graduate I hope to get a dog.
