Dr. Todd East
Veterinarian

Dr. East is a graduate of Michigan State University (no, not University of Michigan. They hate them as much as OSU does). Professionally he enjoys surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic, and ophthalmology. He likes hiking, downhill skiing, mountain biking, hockey and football. Dr. East is married to Dr. Piper-East and they have a 2 and a ½ year old son. They enjoy Wooster and all of the festivals and activities it offers. Come in and say “hi” he would be happy to meet you!

Lauren
Veterinary Technician

My name is Lauren and I am 26 years old. I graduated from Stautzenberger College in Strongsville in October 2007, with a Veterinary Technician License. I’ve been working in the veterinary field for five years. I have a special interest in surgery so that’s where I spend most of my time. I love animals but have none of my own. However, I do have a three-year old daughter named Raimey who keeps me very busy when I’m not working.

I’ve been working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital since February 2005 w/ the exception of a year that I spent at Metro Veterinary Hospital as a surgical technician.

I love my job!!

Receptionist

Hi! I’m Debbie, and I’m a receptionist at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital. I moved to the Wooster area from Findlay, Ohio in 1979, and worked at Rubbermaid for 25 years. When Rubbermaid shut down in 2004, I enrolled in a nine-month business course at Wayne County Schools Career Center. I graduated in May 2005 and started working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in August 2005.

I have five cats and one dog. I enjoy horseback riding, writing poetry, drawing, and listening to Cleveland Indians’ ball games. I’m also active in my church and do some pet-sitting.

I really enjoy interacting with our clients and their “furry” family members.

Charlene
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

My name is Charlene. I am married, have two little boys, three dogs named Krazy, Diesel and Guess, and three ponies named Piper, Patzy and Tig. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, fishing, horseback riding & showing our ponies with my sons.

I started working at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in July 2008. I enjoy my work and love working with animals. If I’m ever working when you come in, say hi! I’m always eager to meet new people and their four-legged friends.

Robin
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Hey everyone! I’m Robin. I am a “jack of all trades” here at Cleveland Road and love what I do! I am 26 years old and graduated from Wooster High School in 2001. I graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies in 2005. I have four parrots that are like children to me. In my spare time, I love reading, listening to music, watching movies, and, of course, teaching my birds new tricks! The bird here on my shoulder is Miguel—he’s our office friend. I love meeting new people and their fuzzy friends so come on in and say hi!

Nikki
Veterinary Aide

Hay ya’ll! My name is Nikki and this is my buddy Garfield. I am 24 years old and I'm originally from Georgia. I moved to Ohio in the summer of 2005 to go to school. I became a certified veterinary aide at Wayne College & have been working here at Cleveland Road since January 2007. I’ve been working with animals for the past six years. I worked as an assistant groomer in Georgia for a couple of years and I also worked at Orrville Pet Spa as my first job here in Ohio.

In my free time I love to read, work outdoors and spend time with family. I love my job and it gives me great pleasure to see how pleased our clients are about the great care their pets receive.

Garfield is an orange tabby who was brought into our clinic as a stray. He was already declawed and neutered and estimated to be about two years of age. I fell in love with him and gave him a happy home!

Office Manager

Hello. My name is Mary. I have the challenging task of being the office manager. I’ve been with the hospital for five years. I was born and raised in southern Oklahoma and have the accent to prove it. My husband Billy, of 12 wonderful years, moved to Wooster five years ago and we love it here. We are blessed with 18 children of the four-legged variety (14 cats and four dogs). I enjoy tending to my flower gardens, jogging, & camping.

Hi! My name is Trish. I’ve been with Cleveland Road Animal Hospital for almost five years. I graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with my technician degree in May of 2007. I’m married and have a handsome 11-month old boy along with two dogs & three cats. I enjoy softball, soccer, watching movies and baseball. Professionally, I enjoy being in surgery and assisting the doctors.
