Dr. Chad Bailey
Veterinarian

Dr. Chad BaileyDr. Chad Bailey grew up on a beef cattle farm in Mantua, OH, where he met his wife while exhibiting 4-H animals throughout the state. Dr. Bailey attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies, where he performed research in bovine reproductive physiology.

Dr. Chad earned his B.S. in Veterinary Science from the University of Minnesota and was awarded with the H.C.H. Kernkamp Honorary Scholarship for outstanding contributions to the field of veterinary medicine. Dr. Chad earned his D.V.M. from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2007. While in vet school, he completed externships at the VCA Referral Center in Chicago, Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center in Boise, and the Medvet Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Columbus.

After graduation, Dr. Bailey completed an intensive, rotating internship in specialty and emergency medicine at the Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center in Boise, Idaho, where he gained considerable experience in small animal internal medicine, surgery, emergency, and critical care. After completing his internship, Dr. Bailey and his family moved back east to Yorktown, VA, where he was the leading doctor at the Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic before finally moving back home to Northeast Ohio in 2008.

Today, Dr Chad is very proud to lead Wooster's most progressive and caring veterinary team at Cleveland Road. His areas of expertise include general surgery, special procedures, and critical care. When not in Wooster, Dr Chad is also an emergency and critical care veterinarian at the Akron Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Copley, Ohio. At AVREC, Dr Chad works alongside the areas most highly trained veterinary specialists and utilizes the most advanced veterinary care available to the area's most critically ill and injured animals requiring 24 hour care.

Dr. Stephanie Bailey
Veterinarian

Stephanie BaileyDr. Stephanie Bailey grew up in Tallmadge, OH, where she met her husband while raising hogs, lambs, steers, and turkeys in 4-H. Dr. Steph began her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University before transferring to The University of Minnesota with her husband in 2003. While in Minnesota, Dr. Steph earned her B.S. in Veterinary Science. Throughout vet school, Dr. Stephanie worked as a veterinary technician at the Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Service as well as the university’s Large Animal Teaching Hospital and also completed rotating externships at Intermountain Animal Hospital in Boise, Idaho, as well as Westvet Specialty and Emergency Center. Dr. Stephanie was awarded her D.V.M. from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2008.

After graduation, she rejoined her husband and family back east when she joined Acredale Animal Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. When the Baileys were offered a chance to move back to Northeast Ohio, Dr. Bailey excitedly joined Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield Village, OH, where she practiced small animal general practice until moving to Wooster to join CRAH.

Today, Dr Stephanie will be the first to tell you that she leads a truly amazing staff at Cleveland Road, and is very proud of the high standards that are met by our AAHA accredited hospital. Her areas of expertise include dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care.

Together, Dr. Chad and Dr. Steph reside in Wooster with their daughter Jo Marie, their son Owen Oscar, and their dogs Rugby and Daisy.
